Solution Architect
Would you like to play a key role in architecture development? As a Solution Architect you are the advisor for our customers, and you deal with issues on a conceptual and technical level. You design solutions in collaboration with experienced colleagues such as Business Architects and Domain Architects for specific issues in the field of software, applications, processes, information flows and associated interfaces.

What you are going to do
- Organize central meetings in which all architecture matters are discussed, and architecture decisions are made
- Mapping and recording requirements and wishes for infrastructures
- Organize workshops, record results and assess and process feedback
- Design IT roadmaps, focused on cost effectiveness and aligned with business strategies
- Drafting architecture blueprints
- Designing OTAPs
- Monitor alignment between requirements set in the architecture blueprint and the underlying documents (HLDs, LLDs and CIPs)
- Manage and simplify the flow of information between internal and external stakeholders
- Support Business Architects in drawing up programs of requirements
- Guiding clients and colleagues in the selection of hardware and software (suppliers)
What we ask
- HBO diploma (preferably Computer Science)
- At least 5 years of work experience as a Solution Architect
- Experience in network infrastructure configurations
- Experience with IP architecture
- In-depth knowledge of Network & Security products such as Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent and Fortinet
- Extensive knowledge of protocols such as IP, IP/MPLS, OSPF, BGP, L2/L3 VPN and QoS
- CCIE/CCDE and/or JNCIE skills
- Experience with LAN, WAN, Data centers, IP Telephony, Video and Wireless
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and scripting TOGAF certified (is a plus)
