Cloud Engineer
As a Cloud Engineer you play an important role in the management and control of the Cloud infrastructures of our clients. The work you will perform is diverse and challenging.

What you are going to do
- Managing the Cloud environment(s) and participating in projects
- Inventory of (current) on-premises environment and guidance in the translation to the Cloud
- Contribute to the design of new Cloud based services and solutions
- Automate cloud-based deployment, monitoring and management processes
- Setting up/implementing monitoring tools and platforms
- Designing and building Docker/Kubernetes platforms
- Designing and developing deployment environments for Java, C#, Powershell and Python
- Automate processes for security and compliance requirements
- Migrate from existing pipelines to cloud-based pipelines
- Advising on the use of DevOps products and services
What we ask
Our new Cloud Engineer has strong communication and writing skills, has a B driving license and meets the following requirements:
- A completed MBO (level 4) or HBO education in the direction of IT
- Minimum of one AWS Associate level certification (e.g., AWS SysOps Administrator) and/or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator (Associate) certification
- Good practical knowledge of network infrastructures and network security
- Knowledge and demonstrable work experience with at least one cloud provider (e.g. AWS, Azure or Google)
- Knowledge of various modern programming languages (e.g. Python, Ruby) and automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Knowlegde of cloud-native techniques and technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, NoSQL databases, serverless compute, etc.)
- At least 1-3 years of demonstrable, relevant work experience in the field of Cloud environments
- You are familiar with DevOps / Agile / Scrum methods
- You are familiar with maintaining security baselines within IT infrastructures
