Bonnie Kol

In 2018, Bonnie has made the transition from primary school to IT. Or as she herself says: “From kindergarten teacher to Network Engineer.” She is tempted to choose IT by her husband, who is also an IT professional. After a home study, help from her husband and above all a lot of practice, Bonnie came in contact with Quality. It clicked right away.

“There is a Rotterdam mentality here: if there is an elephant in the room, it will be discussed.” 

A rather remarkable move for others, perhaps, but Bonnie hasn’t regretted it for a day. Bonnie is currently the only female engineer within Quality. Although IT is a completely different world, it is a breath of fresh air for Bonnie to work in. Instead of run-and-fly work she knew as a teacher, she now decides for herself when she can close the laptop. “Quality offers me collegiality, flexibility and a personal atmosphere.”
