Industrial Network Consultant
Are you strong in making technical and functional designs? As an Industrial Network Consultant, you are an important factor in different phases of projects within the sometimes complex (IT and OT) network infrastructures of our customers. Because your work activities vary widely, you preferably also have engineering capabilities and experience.

What are you going to do
- Translation of the requirements and wishes from an architectural blueprint to a functional design (HLD)
- Translate functional design (HLDs) into technical designs (LLDs)
- Drawing up CIPs, consisting of, among other things, step-by-step plans and risk analyses
- Fully align functional requirements from HLDs with LLDs and CIPs
- Technical coordination with architects within the central consultation
- Align schedules with customer stakeholders
- Supervise and direct engineers
- Verify network configurations and management documentation
- Describe and record network infrastructures in as-built documents
- Carry out second opinions on existing network documentation
- Perform root-cause analyses (and advise) in complex problems
- Drafting SOWs & quotations
What we ask
- HBO thinking and working level
- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience as a Network Consultant
- In possession of two completed Cisco CCNP certifications or comparable level from for example Juniper, HP, Huawei, etc
- VCA-Basic, ITIL, Prince 2 Foundation certification is a plus
- Knowledge of industrial automation
- Knowledge of networked communication systems
- Experience in the Infrastructure or Industrial environment
- Sound knowledge of industrial networks and equipment (Scalance, Cisco, Hirschmann)
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
