Industrial Network Engineer
As an Industrial Network Engineer, you focus on initiating, designing, preparing and executing industrial automation projects at the customer. In the project team you are responsible for realizing a good design of the industrial network to which most subsystems are connected.
What you are good at
- You work on “continuous improvement” projects
- Implementing and monitoring change management
- Analysis in the field of failures, costs, quality and services
- Indicate and implement improvement opportunities for process automation
- Carrying out root cause analyses
- Recognizing and implementing improvements to automated production installations
- Supervising external parties in implementation and compliance with standards
- Contributing to the factory of the future, think of themes such as industry 4.0, Smart Factory and IoT
What you are going to do
- Provide input for engineering designs (LLD) and migration plans (CIPs)
- Perform network migrations and deployments
- Perform technical tests on network infrastructures based on LLDs and process the results in a test plan
- Coordination with the management team and the Network Consultant
- Map network infrastructures, management documentation and network illustrations
What we ask
- At least a completed MBO education level 4 in the direction of IT
- Minimum of 5-10 years as s Network Engineer or Automation Engineer
- Knowledge of industrial automation
- Knowledge of networked communication systems
- Experience in the Infrastructure of Industrial environment
- Sound knowledge of industrial networks and equipment (Scalance, Cisco, Hirschmann)
- Communicative, humor, hands-on and perseverance
