Network Engineer

Do you like to be involved in the creation and implementation of carefully designed network infrastructures and do you like to carry out network migrations and implementations? As a Network Engineer you get these opportunities! You are pivot in the implementation phase of projects within the sometimes complex (IT and OT) network infrastructures of our customers.

What you are good at

Being able to design a network drawing
Updating/drawing up management documentation
Provide support in the preparation of technical project documentation (LLDs)
Drawing up migrations plans (CIPs)
Thinking from the customer’s point of view
Able to work in a (project) team
Good communication skills
Have an eye for detail and security aspects

What you are going to do

Provide input for engineering designs (LLD) and migration plans (CIPs)
Perform network migrations and deployments
Perform technical tests on network infrastructures based on LLDs and process the results in a test plan
Coordination with the management team and the Network Consultant
Map network infrastructures, management documentation and network illustrations

What we ask

At least a completed MBO education level 4 in the direction of IT
HBO thinking and working level
Minimum 3-5 years work experience as a Network Engineer
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with network protocols
Demonstrated and relevant work experience in the field of change management processes (ITIL)
In possession of a completed (valid) Cisco CCNP certification or comparable level from, for example, Juniper, HP, Huawei, etc.
Experience with Prince 2 foundation, ITIL, Agile is a plus
VCA certification is a plus
