Security Consultant

As a Security Consultant you know how important a highly secured IT environment is for organizations and you would like to commit yourself to this. You prefer to do this as part of a strong Security team! That is why you would like to work as a Security Consultant at Quality.

What are you going to do

• Translation of the requirements and wishes from an architectural blueprint to a functional design (HLD)
• Drawing up CIPs, consisting of, among other things, step-by-step plans and risk analyses
• Fully align functional requirements from HLDs with LLDs and CIPs
• Technical coordination with architects within the central consultation
• Align schedules with costumer stakeholders
• Supervise and manage Network Engineers
• Verify network configurations and management documentation
• Describe and record network infrastructures in as-built documents
• Carry out second opinions on existing network documentation
• Perform root-cause analyzes (and advise) in complex problems
• Drafting SOWs & quotations

What we ask

Our new Security Consultants has strong communication skills and written skills (in both Dutch and English), has a B driving license and meets the following requirements:

• A relevant education at HBO/WO level
• At least 5 years of work experience in the role of IT Security Consultant (or similar)
• Demonstrated knowledge of networks and information security
• Demonstrated experience in the field of ISO 2700x, COBlt, OWASP, NEN 7510, NCSC security guideline
• Certification in the field of security such as CISSP, CISM and/or CCNP Security
• Knowledge of product lines in network & security solutions
• Experience with Agile working methods, automation and security in a DevOps environment is a plus
• You preferably have relevant certification regarding cloud technology and infrastructures (for example Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure)
• You are enterprising, environmentally sensitive, eager to learn, result-oriented and positive
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
